High heat resistant tube, cloth

Saint-Gobain Adfors, which handles long glass fibers, manufactures highly heat-resistant tubes, tapes, and cloths using aramid, glass, basalt, and silica fibers.

Based on the high heat resistance temperature of 350 to 1,200°C, it is used for heat insulation to reduce heat loss from heat sources, vibration suppression to reduce vibration and sound, sound absorption, and safety and performance maintenance to protect surrounding people and equipment.

		Tube We braid glass fiber and silica fiber into a tube shape, and manufacture a hollow tube type and a filled rope type. Reduces heat loss by covering pipes and improving the airtightness of openings and gaps in furnaces.

		Tape Cloth woven with glass fiber or silica fiber is made into a tape. It improves the airtightness of opening and closing parts and gaps of the furnace and suppresses heat loss.

		Fabric Glass fiber and silica fiber are woven into a cloth and various special coatings are applied. It has improved heat resistance, abrasion resistance, and tensile strength, and is widely used in industrial, vehicle, and fire prevention applications.

		Mat Glass fiber is used as a needle mat. In addition to being used as a heat insulating material in ships and energy plants, it can also be used as a filter medium for industrial filters.
